Debt Rescue Australia: Are They Any Good?

You might be considering the services of Debt Rescue Australia. Are they worth it? We decided to put this debt reduction company to the test!

Using debt consolidation services are often a really good idea actually. In fact, we do praise these companies here at The Debt-Free Community.

How they work is that they often sort out complex financial challenges for people. Let’s say debt collectors are calling you – they can sort it out!

Debt relief is a growing industry in Australia and doesn’t have the dodgy stigma attached to it like the payday lending market. That is – you’re probably going to get a great deal at the end of the day.

We decided to dig deeper and have an inside look at this company.

Debt Rescue Australia Review

We’ve researched some of these debt consolidation services here in Australia in the last few months in order to protect consumers. Today we’ll be sharing the truth of our findings on this company.

After all, we created The Debt-Free Community as a totally free resource. In addition to our advice on how to live the debt-free lifestyle, we created this so that we can independently investigate financial and lending products on the market for those challenged by debt.

Debt Rescue Australia Review

It’s these everyday Australians that deserve a fresh chance. Life has been tough on you, hasn’t it? These last few months probably didn’t go so well as you had planned. πŸ˜”

You’ve recently come across the services of Debt Rescue Australia based in Noosa Heads and now you gotta do some research. You want to know if they’re legit, right?

The good news is that there are hundreds of Debt Rescue Reviews online. We found plenty through our investigation.

Let’s look at some comments here:

Debt Rescue customer testimonial

That’s the popular Trustpilot website. Also, we’ve got Google itself:

A user review of Debt Rescue

Then you’ll find plenty of reviews on their own Facebook page!

One thing is for sure: This is a company that cares about real results for their clients.

Results that include:

  • Debt consolidation so you’re paying less each month
  • Talking to your debt collectors so you don’t have to
  • Stopping letters and phone calls plus the harassment!
  • Leaving your worries of debt to someone else (them)

And that to us are the results you should be aiming for.

No more pretending “I’ll be OK next month” when you know you won’t be. There are more bills coming, aren’t there? It just keeps stacking up and we don’t want things to get worse for you.

After all, we totally do not recommend payday loans. These loans come with high-interest rates. On the flip side, you should expect much better deals with Debt Rescue or any of these companies really.

Our experience with Debt Rescue

We decided to do a dummy-test ourselves. Reading online reviews weren’t enough. In fact, we would recommend that you do the same to vet that this company is genuine.

Here’s what we did: We called on a Tuesday morning with a bunch of questions. We made up a story that we owed money and were being hassled by debt collectors. Of course, they believed us. πŸ˜‡

All up we were on the phone for 45 minutes asking all sorts of questions. The person who answered was young and very well mannered, but certainly knew their stuff! 😲

We were pretty happy with our experiences

We were given:

  1. An outline of what options are available to us based on the basic questions they asked
  2. Potential options that we can get started with to get our situation sorted
  3. We were also told they will talk to debt collectors and stop them hassling us all day and night

We really liked that actually. In fact, you’ll probably like that too. No more frustrating calls or strongly worded letters of demand. In other words, if you use them, then debt collectors can be silenced by Debt Rescue. πŸ‘

After the phone call, we were sent an information pack. The staff weren’t pushy and were actually really helpful, so the team here at The Debt-Free Community were impressed! We were given a direct line to the staff member who helped us which was really nice.

Things we like

Now after that call we checked out their website while waiting for the information pack. It’s clear that this company is well experienced in helping everyday Australians get out of debt.

By now they have our tick of approval, but we wanted to see more.

What we really liked is:

  1. Their range of solutions. They’re not cornered with 1 or 2 offerings but have an entire suite so you can find a solution that suits your needs. This way you can get the best-personalized offering, as opposed to one-size-fits-all.
  2. Very active blog. We’ve been on other websites where these such companies just haven’t updated anything for years. When writing this review of Debt Rescue, we noted a blog post was published literally the day prior!
  3. Their FAQs are also quite extensive. You’ve probably got 101 questions like we did when we went on the call. Your answers can probably be found in their knowledge base. We would’ve done that ourselves, but we wanted to test their own staff knowledge of the industry and they were flawless!
  4. Their Debtstroyer Agreement is a unique product offering. In fact, there are 5 different types of agreements that they can create where you can reach a settlement formally with your debt collectors. Neat!

Are we in love with their offering? Yep – they’re clearly one of the best in Australia and eagerly help Australians get out of debt.

But wait, not everyone is happy…

Common criticism

Ever heard the old saying “You can’t impress everyone”? – The same is true in the debt reduction industry.

While you’ve seen the many positive Debt Rescue Australia reviews, not everyone is happy with their services. Guess what? It doesn’t matter what you do for these people, they just won’t be happy. Grumpy Gary is on a crusade against…anyone.

In all seriousness, Debt Rescue can’t be all things to all people. Some people just aren’t in a position to benefit from these services on offer. This is why they do the phone call upfront so they can validate if you’d be a great fit and can actually have a benefit from their services (of which there is plenty!)

We decided to look at the 1 and 2-star reviews of Debt Rescue and we spotted a common rhythm. These people didn’t really experience this company fully. Instead, they just were rejected because their lack of income or small debt (Less than $5,000) and Debt Rescue had to politely decline them.

It’s sad really when this company does the absolute best that they can, yet people still want to knock ’em. It’s clear from our experience, the experience of customers and their website that they strive for excellence.

Wanna know the best way to see if they’re any good? Get on the phone with them and test their knowledge. Even get in touch with them via online chat, as they’re one of the few Australian companies that have online chat via their website.

Who they work with

Let’s jump on to a lighter note here. It’s clear that this company seeks results for their clients. The Debt-Free Community independently researched and investigated this company for its accuracy.

In fact, we found some recent footage:

This is further evidence that they’ve definitely been in business for a long time. They’re not an overnight sensation like a lot of these companies. The payday market is notorious for this but only good companies like Debt Rescue last a long time.

Why? Because they do their very best to treat people properly during these difficult and sentitive times.

Ideally, they are looking for the following people:

  • Those who are employed. This can be part-time, full-time or self-employed. In other words, you need regular income.
  • You have a debt that’s greater than $10,000. That overdue phone bill is something you can probably handle yourself with a payment plan.
  • You’re the type that actually wants to follow through. These guys are doing the best they can to find a resolution for you to stop you from the constant challenges you’re facing. Get your documentation in order and follow through when they send you emails.

Even if you aren’t employed right now, they might be able to help still. This is especially true when you own your own house. The best way is to give them a call on 1800 560 572 to ascertain if they’re a good fit for you, and likewise, if you’re the right client for them.

We find with these services that it’s a two-way street. Often you won’t even pay them anything either upfront, so look at it as a free service during that initial discovery call. Feel free to get in touch with us as well.

In summary

Would we recommend Debt Rescue Australia? Absolutely. We’re a community-driven website that aims to check if these companies are actually legit, among other things.

We’ve seen that this company has been around for several years and serves all of Australia. They work endlessly to help those who are doing it tough right now.

They very well could be the starting point of a new journey for you. A chance for you to begin fresh and on the right track towards a debt-free lifestyle.

We’re clearly passionate about debt-free living. It isn’t easy nor is it fast, but you gotta start somewhere, so we would certainly recommend Debt Rescue for positive solutions during challenging times. They could be exactly what you need right now, regardless of where you live in Australia.

Check ’em out:

We hope you too can benefit from their services and get started on the road to recovery. The debt-free lifestyle is a great one and feel free to reach out to us too if you need more information. πŸ˜ƒ

Debt Consolidation Loans Approved For Bad Credit and Unemployed

You might have bad credit and/or you’re unemployed but you see the advantages of a debt consolidation loan. The question is: Would you even qualify?

For most of us, keeping up with bills and repayments for debts is hard. Throw in something unplanned like losing your job, maintaining a household budget then becomes very much challenging.

We’re going to share some reasons why you might actually get approved for a debt consolidation loan when you’re unemployed or have bad credit.

Let’s have a look now.

Debt consolidation when unemployed

Waiting for a job offer to come available is frustrating because you’ve got bills overdue. It’s often a good idea to use debt consolidation to reduce monthly repayments, but can you get one when you’re unemployed?

Happy attractive entrepreneur man calculating costs, charges, mortgage, taxes or paying bills with documents and laptop at home office. In online banking and Success business finances free of debts.

In most cases, you can get approved for a debt consolidation loan if your credit history is bad and you don’t have a job. Here’s how:

  1. People who own a house and have equity generally have a good chance of getting approved. This is because the bank can take the house away if you don’t meet your repayments.
  2. You can use someone else as a guarantor. Do you know someone who has a high income? They might be able to take over responsibility for you, but you’ll still have to pay the debt.
  3. Some banks like when you demonstrate your employment history. Some banks would be willing to give you a loan when you can show that in the past, you’ve earned a great income with a solid job. Maybe you’re in an industry that’s seasonal and you’re waiting for the next gig to become available.
  4. Look at your existing assets. Maybe your house already has equity and if that’s the case, a bank might be happy to use that as collateral to merge your existing personal and credit card debts into a consolidation loan despite your lack of employment.

These 3 options are very much viable, despite most people thinking that they didn’t have options. Of course, you will have significantly more options if you have a well-paying job and financial stability, often with access to better interest rates.

Getting approved despite the bad credit

Some lenders really do like it when they see regular income and some assets. Let’s look at how you can improve your chances of a successful debt consolidation loan approval while not being employed right now, or perhaps having a less than ideal credit history.

  1. Demonstrate where you’ve resolved issues. Banks like it when you can say “Hey look! This credit card was a silly mistake and I’m committed to paying it down”.
  2. Show them your savings plan. You should have a plan that shows your plan to tackle the existing problems.
  3. Remember that bad credit history is only part of the problem. They look at your income and work history, plus your assets and liabilities.

Going from unemployed to employed

Not having regular income is a frustrating feeling. Those bills just keep mounting up every month and you’re struggling to make it through.

It doesn’t have to be this way. Some tips include:

  1. Send out your application to every job recruiting agency within 30km of your house. They often have employers looking for people just like you.
  2. Sell off some of your unwanted stuff online to raise some sort of deposit. Banks like it when you can give them a small deposit as it shows that you at least have something to your name.
  3. Get rid of unnecessary expenses. This includes movie tickets, expensive dinners and trips to the pub. We preach the debt-free lifestyle here and you can do without these liabilities.

You can even get people to give you personal references, especially your employer.

In summary

It’s always wise to speak to a professional in these cases since debt consolidation loans work best for those with clean credit histories and have a proven employment history. But as we’ve said, you definitely can get approved even if your credit file isn’t so clean.

Debt consolidation loans do have their advantages. Often if you’re unemployed, you will be given a higher interest rate than compared to a person who isn’t working. But even so, that interest rate can be lower than what you’re already paying, especially if you have assets like a house backing you up.

Beyond Debt Australia Review: Are They Any Good?

Review of Beyond Debt Australia

So you’re looking to use Beyond Debt Australia and want to know if it’s worth it? After all, their website looks neat and tidy.

You’re probably considering some help with your debt which is great. See – most people never actually summon the courage to actually do something about this.

We’re passionate about living debt-free and getting professional help is often the first step in that process. That’s why we love seeing companies like this around, instead of those offering payday loans.

But are Beyond Debt worth it? In this review, we’re going to examine what they do and they can stop dodgy debt collectors from calling you.

Let’s begin now.

Beyond Debt Australia Review

You’ve been on their website or you’ve heard about their services from a friend or family member. Now you’re open to the idea of getting professional help.

Beyond Debt Australia Review

We would say you’re pretty well smart or lucky. See – most people don’t even realize services like this actually exist. They would prefer to live a life of pain and misery instead, with debt mounting up each and every month.

And honestly, that’s no way to live. You really need to use one of these services to get you started on the path towards a debt-free lifestyle. That’s what our website is all about actually and we independently review services on offer.

When we had a chance to look at Beyond Debt Australia recently, we were sceptical. Do they actually deliver the goods? We’re curious as people have been burned before.

So we decided to call them up and ask them a ton of questions. We simply pretended that we needed help and tested to see if they are actually legit.

The results?

Well, the person on the phone was extremely friendly and answered the questions in a way that a 7-year-old could understand. We were impressed especially as we purposely threw in some technical debt-related questions as well that only professionals would really know the answer to.

So that checked out as very good. The person sounded young as well, but despite her age, she was very knowledgeable.

Validating online reviews

Then we had a look online at several review sites and were equally impressed with Beyond Debt Australia. They use Feefo as opposed to ProductReview or other sites, but they did check out as genuine.

Have a look at this:

Beyond Debt Review

That review was left on the Beyond Debt Australia just a few days ago.

Now look at this one:

Beyond Debt customer testimonial

This one too! Notice the real names they use:

Beyond Debt Sydney Review

Even customer experiences from Perth:

Using Beyond Debt

In fact, there are hundreds on the Beyond Debt Australia Facebook Page where you can read through. To save you the time, we found very few negative experiences with this company over the last 3 years.

One thing is for sure: They are out to help as many Australians as possible and we highly praise them for this! Compare that to payday lenders who just want to offer a 30% interest rate which only makes people struggle even more.

Services they provide

Let’s examine what is actually on offer from these guys. We did quite a bit of research to validate what they provide is genuinely correct.

Their solutions currently include:

  1. Debt agreements. This is the best way to stop those nasty debt collectors from calling you!
  2. Debt consolidation loans which is another great strategy. It’s something worthwhile if you have multiple debts too.
  3. Informal agreements which are a light version which can help you during challenging times.
  4. Personal insolvency agreement which is a great alternative to bankruptcy. These can stop you from losing your house to the banks.
  5. Full bankruptcy agreements as a last resort. If you’re simply unable to pay your debts, then Beyond Debt can help you (but will firstly look at all other options available to avoid this)

Again, we’re impressed with the service offering right here. Why so? Because instead of just offering 1 or 2 services which restrict people and their individual services, Beyond Debt Australia can actually offer a service that is more tailored and affordable to the individual.

Common criticism

Of course, we can’t provide a genuine Beyond Debt review unless we include some criticism too. There are a few people that just weren’t happy.

We’ve evaluated the responses of people who didn’t like their services and we’ve seen a common trait. These people just don’t qualify, unfortunately.

See the thing is with these debt relief services is that they aren’t for everyone. Only a certain percentage of people will benefit from their services. Others, on the other hand, might want to just deal with debt collectors themselves, and that is totally OK if you can handle it.

(Most often, however, you’re just not getting a good deal.)

People who are negative just didn’t fit the service offering. They might be 100% reliant on Centrelink income or just haven’t worked in a job for say 5 months and then rage online. This isn’t a genuine experience since they haven’t use the actual services.

It’s clear that Beyond Debt is only for the right people – that is those that can genuinely be helped in troubling times. They even have a questionnaire on their website to help get a snapshot of people and their situation.

An alternative is the National Debt Helpline (1800 007 007) though these people can’t really talk to debt collectors for you. Often they just share the same information here that you’ll find on our website.

One thing is for sure though: The vast majority of people are happy with the services on offer. It’s our opinion that you should give ’em a call and actually engage with someone instead of reading online comments by unnamed individuals out to simply have a whinge and a pat on the back.

Now with that in mind, let’s look at some common questions:

How does beyond debt work?

Beyond Debt Australia works by stopping debt collector calls through finding a solution to your situation. They’ve helped thousands of Australians to slowly eliminate debt from their life and can stop annoying phone calls and letters of demand.

Has anyone used Beyond Debt?

Yes – thousands of people in Australia have used Beyond Debt over the last 10 years. We’ve validated their company history and they check out as genuine. These are real Australians using Beyond Debt to get themselves out of debt today.

What are Beyond Debt Fees?

They charge $0 upfront to speak with someone over the phone. In some instances, their services won’t cost you anything out of pocket either. Everything is detailed in their Product Disclosure Statement which they will provide you. Most importantly – look at what they can save you!

Is Beyond Debt just the same as My Budget?

Not really. MyBudget operates a bit differently to Beyond Debt though they do provide debt consolidation services. Beyond Debt doesn’t really take over your bank account nor do they charge an upfront fee for this ‘service’.

Are their solutions for everyone?

No. You can find a range of debt reduction solutions on their website but they assess people individually to see if they are actually legible for the services. Some people just won’t qualify at the end of the day, hence the several negative reviews online. Most people are very happy with their solutions and that’s what counts.

Are they only for Australia?

Yes, it appears those that live in New Zealand don’t qualify at this stage. However, if you’re a Kiwi and living in Australia, you’re very likely able to benefit from their services. Get in touch with their team for an assessment.

Beyond Debt Australia: In summary

It’s clear from our direct experiences and our online research that these guys are legitimate in their approach to help everyday Australians.

In other words, they can help you stop those frustrating debt collector calls. You know – those letters of demand, overdue repayments, SMS text messages and phone calls. Those are frustrating and embarrassing, aren’t they? They even make you a little be nervous as to what might happen next.

It doesn’t have to be that way. Use one of these debt reduction services today.

Living debt-free in Australia
Australian debt-free family paying bills together and managing the budget

Can everyone benefit from their services? Clearly, no. Some people won’t meet the minimums to take on a debt consolidation loan or another service that they offer. Others have a high disposable income and can pay back debts by themselves within months.

That said, if you’re looking for one of Australia’s best debt reduction companies, you’ve found them. We certainly approve of Beyond Debt and recommend that you call them on 1300 896 143.

Because at the end of the day, your problems won’t magically vanish. You can’t ignore the severity of the situation here. Most people do need to engage with a company like this who can give you a fresh start.

Debt Busters Australia Review: Should I Use Them?

You’re probably looking at reducing or eliminating debt and Debt Busters could be a good option. After all, we’re totally for decreasing your burdens.

Let me guess – you’ve been struggling for a while, right? Overdue payments and it’s all getting a bit messy. Now you’re looking for a company that can help you during these difficult times.

We have all experienced our fair share of bad service providers, so in this Debt Busters review, we’ll be totally raw and unfiltered.

Let’s begin.

Debt Busters Review

You’ve probably been on their website or seen an advertisement about them. Now you’re curious: Should you use them to reduce your debt?

Compared to say a payday lender, you absolutely should. But we still need to wear our thinking cap in this instance.

Debt Busters was worthy of our research and investigation. First, we decided to see how long they’ve been around for:

Debt Busters Australia

They started on the 5th of November, 2007. That’s a long time for a company to be operating successfully!

It’s quite rare actually. We’re not a fan of fly-by-night operators and highly recommend using an experienced team.

We then audited their online reviews:

Debt Busters Review

That’s impressive! πŸ˜ƒ I don’t think any other Australian company comes close to this.

Review of Debt Busters

Notice that both have no negative reviews of Debt Busters. A bit weird, right? Impressive more like it!

Even their own staff members say that it’s a great place to work lol. After all, if you’re helping people each and every day to get out of debt, I’d be pretty happy too! Some of them have been working there for 10+ years which says something.

In fact, that’s what we do here at The Debt-Free Community. If you need assistance, then look further through our website.

We challenged them

Yes – you read right. We decided to challenge them a bit. Are they really as good as their customers say they are?

What we did is make a total of 5 phone calls on different days. We made sure it was a different person on the phone each time.

This was a fictional test to see if they:

  1. Had the knowledge to deal with lots of complex debt-related questions
  2. Wouldn’t just get us signed up to anything but instead provided an individual approach
  3. Provide free advice during that first phone call without obligation.

The result? They passed all 3.

Each time we spent a good half an hour on the phone with them. We pretended that we had a $20k debt but were working full time. That’s just like their typical clients.

The people we spoke to each time were different, which shows the size of their company. That said, we were always told we would be given a case manager for the entire journey so we didn’t have to speak to 100 different people to get our problems resolved.

It was clear by now that Debt Busters is leading the way in the debt reduction space in Australia.

Why no negative reviews?

It really does beg the question: Why aren’t there any negative reviews regarding Debt Busters? Because they clearly go above and beyond. Well, that was our experience at least.

If you do find a negative review, well Grumpy Gary is no doubt just trying to have a whinge at anything. He’s the type that hasn’t worked for 8 years and just isn’t a fit for the service-offering that Debt Busters has available.

From their website, they do provide a lot of information for you to gauge whether you’d be a good fit or simply wasting your time. If you have regular income and have a decent-sized debt, then you’d probably benefit from their services.

Final Verdict on Debt Busters

The question is: Should you use Debt Busters? The answer is YES. In fact, any of these debt reduction companies are ideal really.

Verdict: We approve of this company

What’s most important is that you start the process with them or any company you choose. It’s the only want to make a difference in your life, provided you qualify for their services.

You could do a whole lot worse. Getting another credit card, taking out a personal loan, or super bad…a payday loan, will get you on a negative pathway. Don’t do this and instead start stepping forward in the right direction, using a genuine debt reduction company that has been around for a long time and that we’ve personally vetted.

It’s clear from our research and our direct experience that Debt Busters is there to help everyday Australians. When you’re ready, we recommend you call them on 1300 368 322.

With so many success stories, you’ll be hard-pressed to find anyone better!

You also may qualify for a free discovery call with The Debt-Free Community where we can talk to debt collectors for you. ☺️

Have you got any experience with Debt Busters? If so, we’d love to hear from you too!
